My Journey to Becoming a Freelance General Virtual Assistant

Let me give you a little bit of my story. I am a healthcare professional who worked abroad for more than a decade. I worked 48 hours a week. Life was busy, however, it was also fun. I have been interested in social media, Freelancing, and always wanted to learn more about the digital platform. But because I was always busy, that interest of mine was put at the back of my mind. Fast forward, the year 2020 I took a break from an expat life and decided to come home to start a new life. Only… to be stuck in one place because of the lockdown!!!

So… obviously for me to start my plans, I need to find a network again, reconnect with people here but because of the current situation due to the pandemic, those plans won’t push through. While waiting, the thought of Freelancing came to mind. That was what I wanted to do long ago and this is a perfect time. Since I won’t be able to go out, why not study? Where and how to begin? I searched for an online course to becoming a Freelance General Virtual Assistant.

I was given a long list of online study sites but how could I find the One? I came across Filipino Virtual Assistance Academy offering a Freelancing course. I checked their company profile. I have read a lot of good reviews and the students are satisfied with their way of teaching. Later, I found myself “enrolled.”

Though I had a bit of background before, I know Freelance General Virtual Assistant would be a new challenge for me.
